💸V1.4.0 Major Update

25th May 2023

In this update, we're making some improvements to existing features, bringing a new feature to fruition, and allowing you to subscribe to notifications about updates for the bot.

We're now also aiming towards releasing an update every two weeks. These updates may not necessarily contain new features, but they are likely to contain optimizations, bug fixes, and more.

This update has been too large to fully detail, you can read all of the changes in the patch notes at the bottom.

Subscribe for Updates

If you wish to receive a notification when the Elyxir bot has an update, now you can! Simply go to our #actions channel in our Discord, press the bell, and you will now be sent a Direct-Message every time we make an update to the bot.

If you are interested in becoming a beta tester for Elyxir, apply by pressing the button in the same channel.

Captcha Verification

Introducing our latest addition to the verification feature; captcha verification. This emoji-based-captcha currently has over 20 unique challenges ranging from simple maths to emoji questions.

To use this system, you can just run /verification setup and select 'Captcha Verification'. The bot uses unique identifiers for each captcha, making it incredibly difficult for bots to bypass!

Sticky Roles

This feature, which we have now brought into testing, re-allocates selected roles if a user leaves and rejoins your server. This is especially useful for roles such as Wager Blacklist or Staff Blacklist roles.

This feature is not restricted to beta testers, but please report any issues you experience with it. In the future, new features will be restricted to beta testers, so please apply in our Discord server.

Applications

The applications system, which has also been brought into testing, allows you to handle all of your applications through Discord. Google Forms is now a thing of the past!

Our application system integrates with the steam api to provide their steam hex based on their steam profile.

This feature is not restricted to beta testers, but please report any issues you experience with it. In the future, new features will be restricted to beta testers, so please apply in our Discord server.
