🐛V1.8.0 Features and Improvements

This update introduces new features and fixes to our esteemed discord bot. Read on to find out how they could benefit your server. Some of these changes were silently released in December.

We have changed the way that updates are applied to our services. Rather than bundling them into big updates, we are taking an approach of continuous integration. This post addresses some of the big changes made since V1.7.0.

Statistic Channels

After releasing this to our early-access testers in January, we are not aware of any issues with the module so we are ready to release it.

This module allows you to create custom parameterised channels which will automatically update to reflect the latest information.

Ban Evidence

Our ban evidence module allows your staff to attach evidence to ban logs, making it easier to handle appeals and ensure that staff are not making unwarranted bans.

Our system by default is configured for EasyAdmin, but if you have another ban logs system we may be able to configure the module to work with other systems. Just reach out and we will see whether it's possible.

Customisation & Documentation

We have improved the ability for you to customise your custom instance, you can now change the footer using the /branding footer command.

We have also improved the documentation addressing custom instances to make it easier to follow.

Internal Migration

We have massively overhauled the structure of our bot which should make it easier for us to deliver future updates, but also should have some performance benefits. One notable advantage of upgrading is that undici is used by the underlying framework which is typically 3x faster than the previous module.

Bug Fixes

We have also addressed many bugs throughout this time including some issues with the FiveM Status systems.
